Pick any 5 samples for one flat $35 — shipping included. Ordering one sample costs the same as five, so there's no reason not to take the full set. Need more? Additional samples are just $7 each. Select the carpet styles you want to sample from the dropdown — add up to 5 for the same flat $35. Each sample is a generous cut of the actual carpet — the same material, construction, and finish used in our full runners. Samples are non-returnable and non-refundable.

We love our new runner! The underpad is so nice and makes the rug feel extemely soft and plush. The design is beautiful and it has really elevated our home. Customer service was amazing and installing was very easy. My husband did each one in an afternoon. Would highly recommend!

I don't usually write reviews but this company deserves their flowers. I'm so glad I found them after a local carpet company quoted me 5k and most other website offered standard sizes and no instructions. They really made the ordering/install easy and straight forward. I was a little nervous about my DIY skills but the videos and tools were so helpful. It is very comfortable and makes the new hardwood steps safer for my dog. I'm so happy with how it turned out and brought the whole house together!

The carpet itself is absolutely beautiful. The pattern, texture, and colors exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with how it looks in our home.
My only concern is the amount of wear I’ve noticed after only about a month of installation. I expected some wear over time, especially since our stairs are a high-traffic area, but I didn’t anticipate it becoming noticeable this quickly. In hindsight, I’m wondering if there were preventative measures I should have taken from the beginning, because it has me a little concerned about its long-term durability. We vacuum the stairs every other week, and we’re planning to give them a thorough cleaning to see if that helps.
Overall, I still love the look of the carpet and truly appreciate the excellent customer service. I just wanted to share my experience regarding the early wear in case it’s helpful for others with high-traffic areas or if there are maintenance recommendations that could help preserve its appearance.

The videos were great! Keith was very helpful in answering a few questions via text. Got it done in less than 3 hours. Our 9 year old chocolate lab loves the runner much more than the bare wood which is why we did it in the first place!

I absolutely love our new stair carpet and the process with Direct Carpet. After I ordered my carpet, a rep reached out to my to recommend a longer length based on my stair count. I was pretty confident in my measurements so I declined, but they sent me the extra length free of charge anyway to make sure I had enough. I really appreciated them going above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible. The carpet looks great and is extremely comfortable under foot. We hired a handyman to put it in for us and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

After looking locally at what was available for stair runners, we decided on Direct Carpet for their beautiful, quality carpet selections, reasonable pricing, included underpad, and free shipping. We ordered the stair runner on a Monday, received a text message that evening requesting some pictures and information about our staircase, the runner was shipped on Tuesday and we received it on Wednesday ! Ended up perfect for our home! Made the stairs 1000% better, we were all slipping down the stairs prior to carpet. My husband installed it in about 4 hours with minimal help from me. We have no experience with carpet installation but the videos explained it thoroughly so we did EXACTLY as he did and had no issues. It made the stairs very comfortable to run up and down without shoes. My kids play safely on the stairs now. We are almost two months w/new carpet , it’s been a muddy spring with one teen + friends, 2 young kids, 4 dogs and general farm life and the carpet is showing no dirt or wear yet. It fit the aesthetic so perfectly!

I LOVE the new runner. I love the premium padding that came with the purchase. My husband installed it in a couple of hours, and it was a much easier install than the last runner. I also had the dog leave a dirty paw print on it just a few days later, it a little resolve carpet cleaner made the spot disappear. Great quality!!

From the samples to the finished product, Direct Carpet is a 10/10. We ordered 1 ft more than our measurements indicated and we were left with about 3 inches of scrap at the very end. The installation videos offered fantastic advice that helped make our installation process really smooth. The hardest part was getting started on the runner but once we got the hang of it, and watched the videos about 5 more times, it was fairly simple. The carpet and pad are very high quality, and I anticipate that this runner will last us a very long time.

Super pleased with how our stairs turned out! It was difficult finding a source for two different stair widths in a pattern we liked, but your product fit the bill! Also very happy with the quality of the carpeting. I was worried that my dogs’ nails would snag the carpeting, but it hasn’t. Great product!

We ordered 5 samples. Definitely recommend ordering the samples, the colors appeared so different with our staircase. I was positive we would be ordering the “cork” color and then when we got the samples we realized the “basket” color was much more what I wanted. Seller is super communicative and shipped very very quickly.
